The level of experience you have will affect the complexity of your CV, our approach to layout, and help to inform the CV writer of the type of positions you will be applying for. It is important that you select the appropriate level for the position you are currently seeking, in order for us to produce a CV commensurate with your seniority.

Entry level
No work experience, or 1/2 years work experience
If you are at the beginning of your career, when you are new to the job market, you have to compete in a concentrated pool of candidates. CV type – skills based CV or chronological CV

You can select whether you would like to have a skills based CV or a chronological CV. A skills based CV is often most effective for skills based sectors such as IT, and certainly is most effective for people working as contractors. However sometimes recruiters prefer to see a chronological CV. It may be that you decide you want to have both versions produced. If you only want to have one version produced and do not specify which type you want, we will select on your behalf the layout we believe best showcases your skills, based on whether your CV is to be used for a commercial or technical skills based sector.

A chronological CV will often be used for Commercial sectors such as administrative, retail, services, catering, managerial, and professional.

A Skills based CV will often be used for technical sectors such as IT, contracting, engineering, and medical.
