All orders made by you and accepted by us are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

In using this website or placing an order with us you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

All orders made by you through the web site are subject to acceptance by us. We may subject your order details to additional security checks after you have submitted your order. Depending on the outcome of these enquires, we may decide to cancel your order.

  1. Description of Products

Our CV writing service is designed to help clients achieve job interviews. All details, descriptions and prices for our products shown on the web site were correct at the time when the information was set up. We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications of any item on our web site at our discretion. We also reserve the right to withdraw any product from our web site at any time.

  1. Payment

For clients outside the EEC, prices are not subject to VAT, so prices shown are the total you will be charged. For clients inside the EEC, VAT is payable and will be added to the prices quoted at the current rate.
Payment is required in full before we can begin to work on your CV. We accept payment through PayPal, and by debit/credit card, from your bank funds. Your payment will be subject to their validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We are not responsible for delays or losses if the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment. We are not responsible if your preferred payment agent fails to correctly deliver your payment to our UK bank account as instructed If we are unable to process your application or cannot deliver your CV for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you may be entitled to a partial refund.

  1. Cancellation and Refunds.

By using our service you agree that we are starting to supply the service as soon as your payment is accepted, therefore you waive the right to a full refund if you cancel. The supply of services and personalised goods, as outlined in Distance Selling Regulations 13, “the consumer will not have the right to cancel the contract by giving notice of cancellation pursuant to regulation 10, 13:1A and 13:1C in respect of contracts for the supply of services if the performance of the contract has begun.”

However, we recognise clients’ circumstance may change, so we do offer a cancellation policy, that takes into account our administration costs, research, and diary time for your writer.
However if you advise us within 24 hours of your application that you wish to cancel, we will give a 75% refund. If you advise us between 24 and 72 hours after your application we will give a 50% refund. After 72 hours no refund will be available. Refund will be made by via Paypal and is payable to the original card holder only. Refunds will normally be made within 7 days of the request being received by us.

  1. Delivery

We aim to usually email the CV to you within 5 working days. However, at our discretion, we may feel that we need additional time to perform the work to our satisfaction. In this case we will contact you to advise of a delay.

  1. Information supplied

Your CV is based upon information that you supply to us. If you have any comments on the documents created for you, please contact us within 7 days with full details of any changes or corrections. Please advise all requested changes within one email to contact@careercvshop.com, quoting your reference, within 7 days of receipt. Please write “changes requested” in the subject line. Please note we cannot change your CV free of charge if you did not provide the correct information before the CV was written We cannot accept responsibility for false or inaccurate information supplied. We cannot guarantee that the use of our products will result in an interview or job offer.

You will be able to access certain areas of this Website. Other areas of this Website will only be accessible if you have permission.

6. Use of website
Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website are owned by us or our licensors and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.
